Paul Broward, 81, pulled up his earthly anchor and set his sails for the final journey October 8, 2011.
He was the hero of his wife, Ruth, of 57 years, his children, Rebecca Niemier, Rex and Anne Broward, Russell Broward; his grandchildren, Jesse Broward, Tristan Niemier and Hannah Niemier, his sister, Orla Ann Tomlin, nieces and nephews.
He was deeply loved, admired, and appreciated by his family.
Paul taught them to sail through life with strong moral compasses, and to love and respect the oceans of the world, upon which they had traveled thousands of miles in their sloop, Zephyrus.
Services for friends and family will be at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 14th at Moles Funeral Home, Bayview Chapel, 2465 Lakeway Dr. at the corner of Woburn St. in Bellingham.
