Harrison Pruitt Brown, 73, of 317 "I" St., Anderson, died Thursday, Dec. 8, 1994, at Anderson Area Medical Center. He was born in Anderson, was a retired Napping Room Supervisor with the J.P.Stevens Company, Appleton Plant, with 30 years of service, was a U.S. Army World War II veteran and was a member of Orrville Baptist Church. Surviving are his son, Sammy H. Brown Jr. of Anderson; and five grandchildren. He was the widower of Beatrice Ertzberger Brown and was the son of the late Joseph W. and Essie Harbin Brown. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the McDougald Funeral Home chapel by Dr. Wendell Bannister and Dr. Lewis E. Greene; burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The body is at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. The family will be at the home of his son, Sammy H. Brown, Jr., 317 "I" St., Anderson.
