Daughter of Isaac and Alice Eagerton Phillips, wife of John J. Williamson.

"To John Williamson and Frances Phillips were born eleven children, four sons and seven daughters, named as follows: Martha Ann, Elizabeth S., Sarah E., Leonard S., Hanna F., John B., Bright J., Mary, Annie, Annis and Joseph W.

Martha Ann married J. H. Thompson; they had no children. Elizabeth S. married Malcolm McMillan. Sarah E. married W. A. Brown. Hannah F. married John L. Gerald. John B. married Martha Coleman, to them were born seven children. Mary married John McMillan. Annie married W. E. Gasque. Annis married N. D. Coary [Currie]. Joseph W. married Mary Kate McIntyre, to them were born eight children. Leonard S. and Bright J. were killed in the war." - page 480-481, A History of Marion County
