Hubert Bondurant Nesbitt, 74 of Williamstown, Missouri died Monday, October 10, 2011 at his home in rural Williamstown.

The son of George W. and Rilla Mae Bondurant Nesbitt was born on October 8, 1937 in rural LaGrange (sic), Missouri.

The family moved to Springfield, Oregon in the spring of 1938 where they lived until returning to Missouri in January 1946. Except for two years Hubert lived his life on the family farm. He graduated from Lewistown High School in1956 and received his degree in business administration from Culver-Stockton College in 1961. He served in the US Army at the beginning of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Bunker Hill Christian Church and the American Legion.

He is survived by a sister, Virginia Lewis & her husband Marvin of Ruskin, Nebraska; niece, Letha Kunkel & her husband Tom of Avon, Connecticut; two nephews, Jerold (Jerry) Lewis & his wife JoAnn of West Point, Nebraska and Neal Lewis & his wife Marcy of Zionsville, Indiana; great-nephew, Robert Kunkel and five great-nieces, Grace and Laura Kunkel, Erica, Alexandra and Gabriella Lewis.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Marvin & Virginia Bondurant and Allen W. & Anna Belle Nesbitt.

Graveside services were held Saturday, October 15, 2011 from the Maywood Cemetery near Maywood, Missouri with Pastor Jeremy Wallace officiating with military honors by Lewis County Memorial Post #578.

Memorials may be made to the Maywood Cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers: Letha Kunkel, Jerry Lewis, Neal Lewis, Richard Kramer, Brian Munzlinge (sic), Kent Munzlinger, Stanley Boltz, Leonard Geisendorfer, Gary Chaney and Norris Hinton.
