Patricia Anne Moorman Meeks
Patricia Anne Moorman Meeks, 63, of Gladys, died Friday, May 25, 2007, at Lynchburg General Hospital.
She was born May 26, 1943 in Campbell County to the late Anna May Mitchell Moorman and Leonard G. Moorman.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Lee Meeks; a brother Willie (Jack) Moorman; and two sisters, Ruby M. Black, and Inez M. Shufflebarger.
Patricia is survived by a son, Darryl M. Meeks of Gladys; four sisters, Marion Elizabeth Bradley of Lynchburg, Di Moorman of Gladys, Lois M. Anderson and her husband, Chester, of Rustburg, and Phyllis M. Hailey, and her husband, Charles, of Nathalie; a sister in-law, Beulah L. Moorman of Gladys, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Patricia was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, where she served as the church treasurer for over 20 years. She was retired from the Craddock Terry Shoe Corporation and Masseys.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4:30 p.m. today at Whitten Park Avenue Chapel, 1336 Park Ave.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, May 28, 2007, at Calvary United Methodist Church Cemetery, Gladys.
