Jeanette was a systems analyst with NASA in the Office of the Chief Information Officer and retired in 2004 with 39 years of service. She was a member of St Luke's United Methodist Church and Eastern Star. She earned the Christa McCauliffe award and was the salutatorian of St. Leo's University.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Sam George; father, Roland F. Williams; and granddaughter, Kacie A. Goodwin.
She is survived by her son, Scott George and wife, Lydia; daughters, Deb Feick and husband, Dan, and Kathi Goodwin and husband, Don; grandchildren, Erin Goodwin and Zach Feick; great-grandchild, Jadon; mother, Ruth Johnson and husband, Rueben; sister, Joan Harrington and husband, Don. Other members of the family include Tom and Harriet George, Ralph and Joyce Hearn, and Betty Jean and William Goodwin.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, Oct. 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A Celebration of Jeanette's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23, at St. Luke's United Methodist Church with the Rev. Clara Gestwick officiating. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.
