Adelia married William Edward Lynn, son of Jane BIGGAM* Lynn and Ananias H. Lynn, in Jersey City on 26 November 1878. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. George Dickinson, Methodist-Episcopal minister.
The couple had one child, Edward Epworth Lynn, who was named for Adelia's father.
Adelia was barely 22 years old when she died. Her death notice in The Evening Journal on 25 and 27 February 1882 concluded with:
Gone is our darling from us,
Free from sorrow and pain.
To wear a crown with Jesus,
And forever with him reign.
