Marjorie L. ERICKSON, 87, formerly of Windom died April 9, 1994, at the Christian Nursing Center in Willmar.

Services will be today (Wednesday) at the Hope United Presbyterian Church in Spicer with Rev. Jeff DeYoe officiating.

Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in New London.

Marjorie Lillian MATHISEN, daughter of George and Lily BROWN MATHISEN, was born June 25, 1906, in Windom. She attended district 11 school until 1920 when she moved to Windom with her parents.

She attended teacher's training and taught country school for three years. In 1928, she married Roy ERICKSON in Windom. They farmed in Dale Township until 1952.

In 1966, Marjorie and Roy moved to New London and lived on Norway Lake until 1983. They moved to an apartment in New London. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Windom and the Hope United Presbyterian Church in Spicer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy; one infant son; one son, James; one brother, Sidney of Mesa, Ariz.; and one sister, Margaret ERICKSON.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. William (Shirley) KIDD of New London; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Mae CRUMLETT of Maple Plain; and one brother, Lewis MATHISEN of Minneapolis.
