Maria Moreno, 31 years of age, was shot by her husband, Roland Moreno; she was 12 weeks pregnant. Her child, Luis Frank Moreno, 4 years old, was also shot by his father. Maria attended New Testament Christian Church in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from Southwest High School. Served in the military 4 years. Employed with Rencare, LTD 2002-2003. She was a lovable, spiritual, caring person. She will be missed by everyone that new her and loved her. She is survived by her parents, Mr & Mrs Jimmy Burton, brother, Frank J. Burton & his family, Sylvia, Luis, and Marysol. She leaves many other dear relatives and friends from San Antonio area, California, Missouri, Oklahoma, Wyoming, and Seville, Spain. Services were held at the New Testament Christian Church followed by Interment at San Fernando Cemetary with Military Honors on September 29, 2003.
