Mr. Ferguson was a native of Jackson County. He was a retired carpenter and was a member of the Joy Baptist Church in Hull, GA.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Tucker Ferguson, Danielsville, GA; daughters, Karen Seymour, Hull, GA., Kellie Marable, Colbert, GA; daughter-in-law, Janet Ferguson, Commerce, GA; sister, Barbara Barton, Athens, GA; brothers, Julius Ferguson, Hull, GA, Jimmy Ferguson, Campton, GA; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2005 at the Joy Baptist Church, Hull, GA with Rev. Barry Black officiating. Interment will be in the Winterville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Joy Baptist Church, 1135 Glenn-Carrie Rd., Hull, GA 30646.
