Martha retired after 17 years of service in Child Nutrition Services of the Christiana School District.
She was a long time member of the Townsend Immanuel United Methodist Church and UMW, the Townsend Women's Club, and the MOT Senior Center. She was also an avid quilter.
Martha was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Charles A. in 2004.
She is survived by 3 children and their spouses, all of Townsend, Carole and Lee Kinnamon, Charles and Brenda Berkheiser, and Dawn and Lon Fluman, her grandchildren, Chris and wife, Sherry, Laurie and husband Gary, Emily, Ginger, Ben, Jillian and husband Chris, Ryan, Jessica, Brittany, and Lon IV, and 6 great-grandchildren, Miranda, Seth, Georgia, Chase, Zachary, and Michael.
Funeral services will be held on Wed. morning, Oct. 26th, at 10am at the DANIELS & HUTCHISON FUNERAL HOME, 212 North Broad St. Middletown, DE.
Interment will be in the Delaware Veterans Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday evening from 7-9pm at the funeral home.
