She worked as a cook in the food service industry all her life. Minnie loved to dance, raise her garden, laugh and sing, but most of all was an avid fisherman, and she was good at it. She was the former Miss Arkansas of 1937. She had a great love for her family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving are her children - Penny (Garr) Miller of Elko, NV, Vivian (Leo) Fox of Ellingston, MO, Brenda Briener of Palos Verdes, California, two sisters - Jeanette Rafferty and Sue Carol Hutchison both of OAkdale, CA, 13 grandhindren and and host of great and great great grandchildren. Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband - Oscar Edward Allen and two daughters - Patricia Ann Bethel and Neola Louise Lee.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Cremation and arrangements were under the direction of Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home of Twin Falls.
