She was born October 15, 1915 in Oak Park and resided in West Chicago from 1923 to 1970 when she moved to Antigo, WI.
Margaret was a member of Antigo Baptist Church. She enjoyed her log cabin home on Post Lake in Wisconsin and wildlife including deer, foxes, raccoons and her beloved birds and was known to feed a coyote too. She was a volunteer at Landglade County Senior Citizens preparing and servicing meals and a familiar face around Antigo from her daily walks. She was known far and wide for her chocolate chip cookies.
Survived by her son, James K. Levely of Aurora; daughter, Janet Malkasian of Roselle; a brother, Rev. Ridell (late Margaret) Kelsey of Glen Ellyn; her grandchildren, Christine Levey of Calistoga, CA and Scott Levey of Boise, ID.
Preceded in death by her first husband, Ken Levey and her second husband, Roy Wensel; her sister, Helen (late Neil) Doty; her son-in-law, John Malkasian.
Memorial service will be Saturday, September 27, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at the Norris-Walen Funeral Home, 132 Fremont St., West Chicago. Rev. John Bell officiating. Burial will be in Glen Oak Cemetery, West Chicago. Memorial visitation will be on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until service time.
