Funeral services for Mrs. Emma A. Bartusek were held Wednesday, Jan. 14, at 10 a.m. in St. Wenceslaus Church with the Very Rev. C. C. Jirik officiating. Burial was in Most Holy Trinity parish cemetery in Veseli.
Emma Bartusek was the daughter of the late Wencl and Mary Vrzal Kopet and was born on October 28, 1896. She was married to the late Joseph T. Bartusek on October 14, 1919, in Veseli. They made their home on a farm in Wheatland Township until 1948 when they retired to New Prague.
She is survived by a son, William J. Bartusek of Webster; a sister, Mrs. Frank W. (Adeline) Sticha of Lonsdale; a brother, Charles Kopet of New Prague; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A sister, Mrs. Frank R. (Sedonia) Trcka is deceased.
