On Wednesday, April 9, 2008, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband for 53 years of Charlotta Calaway; loving father of Connie Calaway, Susan (Daniel) Jacques, Charlanne (Dr. R. Lindsay) Anglen and the late Steven Calaway; adored grandfather of Thain Calaway, Madison and Nicholas Jacques, Taylor, Jasmine, Alison and Steven Anglen; and dear brother of Shelia (Joseph) Halsey. Dr. Calaway is also survived by other relatives and friends.

During the Korean War, he served in U.S. Navy. In Chevy Chase, MD, Dr. Calaway practiced dentistry for 50 years.

He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 500 Randolph Road, Silver Spring, MD.

On Sunday, April 13, visitation 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints, 500 Randolph Road, Silver Spring, MD, with services at 7 p.m.

Interment in Cincinnatti, OH.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Charlotta Calaway Medical Fund, c/o 7849 Archbold Terrace, Cabin John, MD 20818.
