After a lingering illness with a complication of diseases, Mrs. Catherine Wall died t 5 o’clock last evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Silas Shoemaker, three miles northwest of Stockwell. She was born near Dayton, Ohio, November 15, 1824, and was married to Richard Wall December 30, 1846. Her husband died several years ago and Mrs. Wall then went to the home of her daughter, where she lived until her death. Mrs. Wall was greatly devoted to her family and was a good neighbor. She leaves the following children: Presley Wall, of Boseman, Mont; Dr. Bert Wall, of Champaign, Ill.; Howard Wall, of Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Mrs. Shoemaker. The funeral will be held from the Methodist church at Clark’s Hill to-morrow morning at 10 o’clock and the burial will be ion the Union cemetery.
