SOPERTON – Mrs. Grace Wilkes Brantley, 73, died Wednesday at Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin after a short illness. The Laurens County native lived in Treutlen County 40 years and was a member of Lothair United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Wade Brantley of Soperton; two daughters, Miss Sandra Holt of Soperton and Mrs. Sharon Folsom of Brunswick; a sister, Mrs. Sybil Simmons of Augusta; two brothers, Willie D. and David Baum Wilkes, Jr., both of Augusta. Funeral: 4 p.m. today at Sammons Funeral Home, burial in Red Bluff Baptist Church Cemetery.
