Coral Izar (pronounced "Eye-zae-er") Combs was the familial son of Seth Newell Combs (1836-1921) and Mary Armente Camp (c1860-1922). DNA results indicate that Seth Newell Combs was not Coral's biological father. Coral Combs' biological father has yet to be determined, however, DNA results suggest that Coral's biological father is descended from a child of Isaac and Maria (Higley) Tinkham, and a child of Lemuel Sturdevant and Laura Melvina (Thompson) Leavitt. Coral's mother separated from Seth Combs within a year of Coral's birth. After separating from Seth, Mary lived with William Abbey for approximately five years before marrying George Almon Turck. Coral married Alta May Ruby (1898-1965) daughter of James Ruby and Ola Ann Goodlin. Ola was the wife of Coral's brother, Bert Isaiah Combs. Ola was previously married to James A Ruby. Coral and Alta (Ruby) Combs had one son, Theodore Ralph Combs (1922-1995).
