Rites Set
Services for Alva A. Darner, 73, of 729 Elm Street, will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Shirer and Sons funeral home, Adamsville, with Rev. George Willyard presiding. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery.
Mr. Darner, who died Saturday in Good Samaritan Hospital, was born near Adamsville, the son of Henry and Louisa Geyer Darner.
He was a retired employee of the Mosaic tile plant here.
He leaves his wife, Mary; two sisters, Mrs. Alma Fluharty of Crooksville Rt. 1 and Mrs. Freda Stewart of Akron; a step-daughter, Mrs. Pat Gardner of the home, and two step-grandchildren.
