Son of John H. Clark Sr and Edith Claypool Clark. Edith had daughter Loretto Claypool (Mrs. Clinton Dodge) by her first husband Harrison Claypool who passed away, and had sons A B Clark, H H Clark, John H Clark Jr and daughter Mary Clark Pierce with John H Clark Sr.

A B Clark was born in Iowa and moved to Fresno in the 1880's. He served as the second Master of the Las Palmas Lodge at the age of 51. He had also been the Lodge Treasurer.

Clark was a prominent banker in Fresno having been with Fresno Savings Bank up until the bank's dissolution in April of 1895 and as vice-president of Union National Bank (which merged with United Bank & Trust). He also served on the City Board of Education.

Albert Bazzle Clark married Susie Crispin. They had daughters Georgia Alma Clark, (Mrs. Fred Hammerley) and Eva Clark (Mrs. Benjamin Walker).

A B Clark was a partner in a successful vineyard in the Parlier vicinity. The vineyard was later sold to the Garfield Farming Corporation.

Clark was a member of the Shaver Lake Fising Club.

The A B Clark home is part of the Fresno Historical Homes tour.
