Harvey H. Runk, 58, Brodbeck RD 1, Dies
Brodbeck – Harvey Hale Runk, 58, former employee of the State Highway Department, died yesterday at 7:45 a.m. at his home, Brodbeck RD 1, Manheim Township, after an eight-week illness.
A son of the late Oliver and Elizabeth Hale Runk, he was a member of Otterbein United Brethren Church, Hanover.
Surviving are: His wife, Mrs. Tillie Berwager Runk; two sons, Edward H. Runk, Littlestown, and Merle P. Runk, at home; three grandchildren, and seven brothers and sisters, William Runk, Spring Grove RD 3; Mrs. Horatio Wildasin, Brodbeck RD 1; Mrs. Jacob Peterman, Hanover RD 2, and Mrs. Cora Trish, Mrs. Paul Louey, Mrs. Clarence Wright, and Mrs. Arthur Feltch, all of Hanover.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. in Otterbein UB Church, Hanover. His pastor, Rev. Paul R. Wineka, and Rev. Noah S. Sellers, pastor of Black Rock Church of the Brethren, will officiate. Interment will be in the Black Rock Cemetery. Arrangements are in charge of the Bucher Funeral Home, Hanover.
