Marian Eaton Oct. 18, 1917 -- Feb. 23, 2005

Sequim resident Marian Eaton died in Port Angeles at age 87. She was born in Troy, Iowa, to Lev and Nellie Troutman. She married Bayard Scott. They later divorced. He was the father of her children. After living most of her life in Iowa, several years in Colorado and almost 20 years in communities around Austin Texas, she lived her final two years in Sequim.
Mrs. Eaton enjoyed music and reading as well as socializing with friends and family. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Mac and Pat Scott of New Cambria, Mo.; daughters and sons-in-law Lynell and George Wellman and Sharman and Glen Richardson, all of Sequim; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, six step-grandchildren, 13 step-great-grandchildren and one step-great-great-grandchild.
Services: Memorial services were held Feb. 26 at Gardiner Community Church. Olympic Crematorium was in charge of arrangements.
