Blanche Bland, 95, of North Little Rock, went to be with the Lord on October 19, 2011.

She was born on October 31, 1915, in St. Louis, MO.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Bland, her sisters Francis Frank and Sally Kamens.

Blanche is survived by her daughters, Patricia Becker of Albany, California and Kathy Burns and husband Bert of Sherwood, grandchildren Tom Dicus and wife Karen, Tim Dicus and wife Lisa, Kelli Rutledge and husband Travis and Thomas Burns and wife Laura. She was called Meme by her grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

She retired from Arkla gas where she worked for over 35 years. She was a faithful Christian who devoted her life to her family. She always put other's needs before her own.

Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, October 21, 2011, at North Pulaski United Methodist Church, 10 Kelso Rd.
Gravel Ridge where she was a member.
Pastor Carol Goddard and Pastor Tom Dicus, officiating.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Sherwood Nursing and Rehabilitation who lovingly cared for her, as they would their own family
