Haywood M. Honeycutt, 50, of 44 Onaway Place, Garfield Park, was pronounced dead of arrival at Wilmington General Division yesterday after suffering an apparent heart attack at his home.
Mr. Honeycutt was born in North Carolina and had lived in the Wilmington area for the past 15 years. He was a veteran of World War II and was a self-employed painter.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Irene Irwin Honeycutt.
Services will be Wednesday afternoon at 1 at the McCrery Funeral Home, 2700 Washington St., where friends may call tomorrow night. Interment will be in Riverview cemetery.
