The Emporia Weekly Gazette, December 25, 1952, Page 2 - "Rites for Mrs. Harvey- Funeral services for Mrs. William S. Harvey, formerly of Emporia, who died Sunday in Denver, Colo., were held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon in the Friends church. Mrs. Mabel Harris, of Dunlap, was in charge, assisted by the Rev. Kenneth Pitts, pastor of the church. Lewis Macy and Mrs. Grace Van Sickle sang, accompanied by Mrs. James Beech. Burial was in Cottonwood cemetery.-- Pallbearers were E.A. Hinshaw, George McMillan, Ed H. Palmer, Asa James, C.L. Coombs and W.W. Harvey.-- Out- of- town persons present were William D. Harvey, Golden, Colo.; Miss Sidney Hinshaw and Mrs. Rob Cresivell and son, George, Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. George Motter, of California; Mrs. Lester DeBolt and daughter, Shirley, Rawlins, Wyo.; Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Jones, Miss Neveta Jones, all of Denver, Colo.; Milo Hinshaw, Burwell, Neb.; Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Harvey, Dunlap."
