Lloyd P. Catherman
Mr. Catherman, 82, of Blair Christian Home, Duncansville, formerly of Juniata, died at 3:10 p.m., Wednesday, June 23, 1982, in Altoona Hospital, following an extended illness.
Mr. Catherman retired on disability as a crane operator from the Penneylvania Railroad in December 1969, after 32 years service.
He was born Feb. 25, 1900, in Mifflinburg, the son of Samuel I. and Annie M. (Mitchell) Catherman, and married Sarah Romayne Mohler, who died in 1962.
Surviving are two sons: Lloyd P. Jr. of Riverside, Calif., and Robert D. of Duncansville; six grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are a brother and sister: George D of Altoona and Mrs. Margaret Bingman of Mifflinburg.
Mr. Catherman was a member of the Jujiata Church of the Brethren, where he served as a deacon, trustee, Sunday school superintendent and Sunday school teacher.
He was a member of the Juniata Civic Association, AARP, Christian Businessmen's Association, Senior Citizens Bowling League and Railroad Evangelistic Association Inc.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home, Juniata.

CATHERMAN--Services for Lloyd Catherman of Blair Christian Home, Duncansville, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home, Inc, Juniata, by the Rev. Robert Wharton. Interment in Alto-Reste Park. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the E. Merrill Funeral Home, Juniata.
