Edna Ruth Steglich, 82, lifetime resident of Bartlett, died July 15, 2003. Funeral services were 10 AM Friday July 18 at St John Lutheran Church in Bartlett with Rev Alan Struckmeyer officiating. Burial followed in St John Cemetery.
Mrs Steglich was born Feb 24, 1921 in Walburg, daughter of Amalie Anne Pillack and Walter F Bethke.
On Jan 25, 1941 she married Bernhard H Steglich. She had been employed as a florist in Temple for 25 years. She was a charter member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Temple.
Survivors include her husband Bernhard Steglich of Bartlett; four sons, Gary Steglich of Granger, Daryl Steglich of Bartlett, Alan Steglich of Temple, and Travis Steglich of Bartlett; sisters Bernice Britton of Austin, Gladys Lewis of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and LaNell Dube of Euless; brothers Monroe Bethke of Coleman and James Bethke of Elgin, 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
