DIED TODAY AT CEDAR RAPIDS

Mrs. Melda GARDNER, 33, former resident of Fairfield, passed away at a hospital in Cedar Rapids this morning at 7:30 a.m. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. B. ABBEY, Fairfield.

Funeral services will be held at the Weston Behner funeral home Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. witt the Rev. S. P. Williamson in charge. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn cemetery.

She is survived by her husband and parents, and the following sisters and brothers: Allen ABBEY, Davenport; Earl and Don, Fairfield; and Mrs. Elizabeth HOOTMAN, Cedar Rapids. She was preceded in death by one brother, Rex.

Mr. and Mrs. GARDNER had made their home in Cedar Rapids for the past several years.
