OBITUARY of Catherine (Wright) Findley from the Brownstown Banner March 6, 1907

HER MOTHER WAS COLD IN DEATH
When th Daughter Went to Call Her to Breakfast

Mrs. Catherine Findley, a highly esteemed lady, was found dead in her bed Friday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs Newton Rinehart, about four miles southwest of Seymour, where she had been visiting for about a month past.
She had been complaining some the day before, but nothing serious was suspected, and when she retired she thought she would feal better by morning. A little after four o'clock Friday morning Mrs. Rinehart went to call her mother for breakfast and was shocked to find her cold in death.
Coroner Jesse Dowden held an inquest Friday afternoon and rendered a verdict that death resulted from heart and lung trolble.
Deceased was 69 years of aga, She was the widow of John Findley deceased, who was a son of Hugh Findley. Her maiden name was Wright. She usually made her home with her daughter, Mrs. John Carr, in Hamilton township.
Funeralservices were held at the residence Sunday and the remains were brought to Brownstown Sunday afternoon and laid to rest in Fairview cemetery.
