WARREN – Deloris M. Wood, 76, died of cancer Tuesday at ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Wood was born March 16, 1935, in Meadowbrook, W.Va., a daughter of Samuel and Mary Frances Aiello Marra.
She came to Warren in 1953, after graduating from Shinnston High School in West Virginia.
She worked at Delphi Packard Electric for 33 years, retiring in 1986.
She was a member of the church and enjoyed watching the New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Steelers and Auto Sports.
Besides her husband, David A., whom she married Oct. 25, 1958, she leaves two daughters, Sandra A. of Warren and Patricia M. (Tom) Wills of Cortland; two granddaughters, Kara L. Wills and Emily S. Wills, both of Cortland; two sisters, Mary Pernice of Warren and Ann Nagy of Brecksville; a brother, Joseph of Harrisburg, Pa.; and her dog, Copper.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Pat, John and Frank Marra; and two sisters, Flora Athey and Katherine Carrero.
Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Cortland.
