Vivian was born Jan. 16, 1928, at Elyria to Henry and Nora (Knopik) Setlik.
Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Turek.
Survivors are: sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Carol Turek of Kearney, Mike and Lucy Turek of Casper, Wyo., Jim and Sue Turek of Fort Dodge, Iowa; daughter and son-in-law, Chris and Gary Clark of St. Louis, Mo.; brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Mary Ellen Setlik of Ord; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Setlik, Sharon Arends, both of Grand Island, and Virginia Setlik of Ord; grandchildren, Joseph, Matthew and Michael Turek and Michael Sands and a host of relatives and friends.
Vivian grew up in Comstock and graduated from Ord High School in 1944.
On Oct. 30, 1950, she married Eugene Turek in Comstock. They lived in Loup City.
Vivian was a medical technologist and medical secretary.
She was a member of St. Josaphat's Catholic Church, St. Ann's Quilting and St. Josaphat's Sodality Rosary.
She loved baking kolaches, making ice cream cake roll, icebox and powdered sugar date bars.
Vivian was also preceded in death by: parents; brothers, Dan, Joe and Marvin Setlik; sister-in-law, Muriel Setlik and step grandson, Nick Sands.
Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, Loup City, NE.
