The Honorable Reverand George Landon was married to Sarah Ann Lum until her death in 1860. They had six children; Elizabeth, Mary, George, Anna, Ellen and Sarah. He married Catharine Smith in Feb 1861, and they had eight children; Benson, Frank, Samuel, Edwin, Herbert, Carrie, Jennie and Robert.

From a letter in my possession, written by his daughter to her nephew: George Landon supported himself by working on the Daniel Lum farm, and provided for his own education.
He attended Wesleyan University in Middleton, CT. While at school he corresponded with Sarah Ann Lum, daughter of Daniel Lum and Sarah Bailey. They were married in 1842.
