MARIETTA SERVICES FOR MRS. WATTERS, 75

Mrs. Mabel Florence Watters, of 805 St. Anne's Road, Marietta, died early Sunday in a Marietta hospital (Kennestone Hospital). She was born in Bluffton, Ala., moving to Rome (GA) at an early age. She later moved to Detroit, where she lived for 35 years and had resided in Marietta (GA) for nine years. She was a member of the Roswell Street Baptist Church in Marietta.

Survivors include her husband, Alva G. Watters to whom she was married on June 26, 1917; two daughters, Mrs. Carl Bening of Dearborn, Mich., Mrs. Truman H. Lovett of Marietta; one son, James A. Watters of Detroit, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. W. N. Fain, of Atlanta, Mrs. C. G. Weidman of Pontagorda, Fla; six grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, in the Hay Funeral Chapel at Marietta, with Rev. K. B. Robertson and the Rev. Walton L. McMillian officiating. Burial will be in the Marietta National Cemetery.
