Murder Victim.
Darron was a sweet little boy who just wanted to belong to a family of his own that would love him. He was living in a foster home when he suddenly disappeared, and was reported missing on Sept. 14, 1980. A few days later, his foster home received an emergency call from someone that claimed to be Darron. When his foster mother got to the phone, however, there was no one there. Darron's disappearance took place during the time of the Atlanta Child Murders, and he is considered to be one of those victims. It was thought that his remains were found years later when someone tipped the police about where two of the victims' bodies could be found. However, only one victim had been found and identified in that location during that time. And the identity of the other remains found much later could not be confirmed as Darron's. He still has no family to mourn him, and this has become little Darron's only place of remembrance. Sister June Glass Thompson.
Darron now has a "family"! Much thanks and many blessings to The Lady in Black for sponsoring Darron's memorial. It is now a place of honor to him and his precious little life.
