NORMAN — Lula Mae Fox, 83, of Norman, went to be with the Lord on October 22, 2010. A memorial service will be held in her honor 2:00PM Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Primrose Chapel. Lula Mae was born on May 1, 1927 to James Alley McKinnon and Rosa Dale Wilkey.
Born and raised in Dibble, Oklahoma, she married Ura Lee Fox in December 1955 and they spent 30 years united in marriage. Lula Mae was a member of the Corn Club for many years. She had the unique ability to make all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren feel as if they were her favorite. She is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband; infant daughter; two brothers; and three sisters.
Lula Mae is survived by daughters Sharon Beery of Norman, Donna Patterson of Blanchard, Darla Fox of Oklahoma City; son Kieth Fox and great grandson Dustin Clouse of the home; brother Jimmy McKinnon of Criner; six grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
