This is my 3rd great grandfather, James Bulter Bowling (b. 25 Oct 1795 in King George County, VA, d. 29 Sep 1878 in Adairville, Logan, KY). He was a medical doctor who built his house and surgery in Adairville. He married Sophronia McLean Ewing on 22 Apr 1819 in Logan County, KY (Sophronia died in 1868 and is buried in Red River Meeting Cemetery). There are more of my Bowling relatives in Maple Grove Cemetery, including my mother's father, Willett Lee Bowling (1881-1943)."
