Robert Harold "Bob" Damron, 80-year-old Enid OK resident, was born November 16, 1930, in Tujunga CA to Paul and Catherine (Jeanette) Damron and died October 6, 2011, in his home. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served from 1951 to 1953. On August 14, 1954, he married Dorothy Mae Connor; and the couple made their home in California where he worked as a roofer. In 1983 the couple moved to Enid. He enjoyed listening to country music with his friends.

He is survived by one daughter, Jeannie Bozarth and husband Kelly of Enid; four sons, Robert Lee Damron of Enid, Paul Arthur Damron of Enid, Carl Ernest Damron and wife Mieshell of Wyoming, and Leo Harold and wife Debbie of Enid; 14 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; one brother; two sisters; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Dorothy, and brother Jack.
