Jack Milton Richardson was born September 24, 1937 in Olney, Texas to W.J. and Ann Harding Cornish Richardson.
He graduated from Megargel High School and attended Tarleton State College.
He married Burley Harris On July 28, 1959 in Archer City, Texas; the couple then moved to Stamford, Texas where Jack worked in the oil field.
He owned and operated the Gulf station in Seymour, then went to TSTI to study auto body repair-he then opened and ran his own body repair shop in Seymour for 16 years.
Jack retired from the James V. Allred Correctional Facility. He was a member of the First United Church, where he served as a head usher.
He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and also was an excellent bird dog trainer.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jay Richardson, September 22, 1994; and two grandsons, Chris McElroy, July 20, 2002, and Wade Davis, July 11, 2008.
He is survived bt his wife-Burley Richardson of Seymour; one daughter, Cyndy Richardson Lee and husband, John of Seymour; two brothers, John Richardson and wife, Janet of Krum, and Tom Richardson and wife, Gay of Seymour; one sister, Jann Bird and husband, Clifford of Archer City; one granddaughter, Jordyn Gray of Seymour.
