Kay D. Hardin, 64, of Janesville, died on October 18, 2011, at home. She was born in Stoughton on March 4, 1947, the daughter of Iver and Alta (Sturdevant) Uglum. She graduated from Edgerton High School in 1965, and had been a Janesville resident for 39 years. Kay had been employed by General Motors for 31 years and retired on Nov. 1, 2003. She married Billy Hardin on March 30, 2001, in Texas, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 2002. She enjoyed dining out with friends and family, shopping, gambling, trips to casinos, vacations to warm places, the Bahamas being her favorite. She was preceded in death by her father, Iver Uglum; mother, Alta Falkenstein; stepfather, Hubert Falkenstein; and sister, Marla Uglum. Interment- Fassett Cemetery, Edgerton.
