He had owned and operated Lee's Garage on South Cayuga Street in Ithaca,New York which was run later by his son LaRue Purhenn.
He is Survived by his wife, Eileen Purhenn of Atwater, Calif.;a son LaRue Purhenn of Rome New York; three daughters,
Arlene Ryan of Dushore, Pa.; Delphine Edmonson of Running Springs, Calif,; and Patricia Reiser of Winton, Calif.;
13 grandchilden;and 24 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Jan. 12 in Atwater Calif.
