We remember and celebrate the life of Della Jane White Bradley. Della began her wonderful journey through life on March 28, 1911, in Sasakwa OK. She married Calvin Richard "Bill" Bradley on December 24, 1932. Della's journey took her from Sasakwa, to Oakland CA, back to Sasakwa, and in her later years to Midwest City OK and ultimately to Norman OK to the home of her daughter, Marvella Sharpe. Della ended her journey on October 7, 2011. She is now free to fly with the angels.

Della was first and foremost a teacher. She shared the joy of learning and the promise of adventure to her students during her many years as a teacher in Sasakwa schools. Her love and enjoyment of learning and teaching never ceased. She was an example to the many people that she met along the way. Her love for life was evident every day. She greeted each day with a smile and many times with a sly sense of humor. Always fiercely independent, Della never took on any task that she couldn't do on her own.

She joins in heaven her beloved husband, Calvin Richard "Bill" Bradley; her brothers and sisters: Flora White, Joseph A. White, Nora White, Preston White, Seldon White, Oklahoma White, and James White; and her mother and father, Sarah Elizabeth and A.C. White.

Those that will continue life's journey without her but with the knowledge that life is a joy and should be cherished are Della's daughter, Marvella Jane Sharpe; Della's granddaughter, Murray Sharpe Henke, her husband, Rick Henke, and their children, Ricky, Michael, and Benjamin; Della's grandson, G. Calvin Sharpe, his wife, Carla, and their children, Anden and Aaron; also, Della's good friend Carroll Eeds, and Della's many students and friends.

The family would like to thank the wonderful people at Loving Care who cared for Della in her last years.
