After long suffering from tuberculosis Theodore Kircher passed away at his home in North Shelbyville at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon of last week. The deceased was a son of Jacob Kircher of this city and had lived in this county all his life. He was born in Rose Township on the 25th of July, 1863 and remained there until his removal to Shelbyville. On the 21st of February, 1892, he married Miss Elizabeth Runkel, who with their one son, Floyd Kircher, survives him. He is survived also by three sisters and three brothers, namely: John and Philip Kircher, comprising the grocery firm of Kircher Brothers of this city; William Kircher of Rose township; Mrs. William Ruff of Shelbyville, Mrs. John Kneller and Mrs. Mollie Warner of Rose. Mr. Kircher was a devoted member of the St. John's Lutheran Church of this city, from which the funeral was held at 1:30 o'clock Friday afternoon.
