Mrs. A. H. Harvison
Funeral services for Mrs. Albert H. Harvison, 71, who passed away at her home Thursday, March 15, in Neely, Miss., after a long illness, were held at 2:30 p. m., Friday in Washington Baptist church, with her pastor Rev. T. R. Coulter, Jr., officiating. He was assisted by Rev. Troy Sumrall, Hattiesburg, and Rev. O. U. Sullivan, Sweatman, Miss. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Harvison had lived in Neely fifty-one years, having moved there from Montrose in 1900, when she was married to her late husband, Albert H. Harvison and had been an active member of the Baptist church there until ill health intervened.
She is survived by an adopted daughter, Mrs. Gilbert Hillman and four grand children, Neely; two brothers, W. L., and P. L. Blackwell, both of Newton, Miss., one sister, Mrs. W. B. Roberts, Meridian, Miss., and a cousin, Miss
Rachel Breland, who had made her home with Mrs. Harvison for the past thirty years.
Active pall bearers were: Ray Freeman, M. A. Williams, C. J. Creel, Everett Dunnam, J. H. Hillman and F. C. Breland. Published in the Greene County (Miss) Herald, 23 Mar 1951.
