Allan Samuel Gadd was born on September 20th, 1911 in Birkenhead, Metropolitan Borough of Wirral, Merseyside, England. He served as Leading Aircraftman in the Royal Air Force in the Volunteer Reserve, and his service number is 1485061. He was in the No. 1 British Flying Training School Course No. 8, and his photograph and information can be found in the school's second yearbook. Gadd died on October 1942 after his plane collided with fellow cadet Thomas Travers' plane. . He was thirty-one years old.
