Williamson was born on June 9th, 1923 in Essex, England. His parents are Mr. William Williamson and Mrs. Florence Emily Williamson, who resided in Little Thurrock, Grays, in Essex, England. Williamson served as Leading Aircraftman in the Royal Air Force in the Volunteer Reserve, and his service number is 1615821. Williamson died on November 27th 1943 after an accident with flight instructor Cliffard A. LeVan. The accident occurred at ten o'clock in the morning just two miles from Terrell airfield. Williamson was twenty years old. His remains are located at the Oakland Memorial Cemetery, R.A.F. Plot, Grave 17. Maurice William Aurthor Williamson was in Course #18 of the No. 1 British Flying Training School in Terrell, Texas.
