Robert L. Stewart, 77, of Douglas, GA passed away at his residence on Monday, October 17, 2011 following a brief illness.
Mr. Stewart was born to Isaac Arthur and Corrine Talitha Baker Stewart on August 30, 1934 in Douglas, GA.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Bernice Rouse Stewart and a sister: Wynona McConnell.
Survivors include: daughters: Carla Stewart, Douglas, GA; Dina Lambing, Douglas, GA; son in law: Joseph Lambing, Douglas, GA; grandson: Stewart Lambing.
Mr. Stewart had worked in retail sales at Walmart and he was a member of Morningside Baptist Church.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in Sand Hill Church Cemetery with Rev. Tommy McConnell and Rev. Bill Stone officiating.
