Amy LaRue Garner Divine, 78; of Soda Springs passed away at her home on Friday, November 27, 2009.
LaRue was born on September 7, 1931 in Logan, Utah the daughter of Loren and Amy Welch Larsen. She grew up in Newton, Utah.

LaRue married Owen Jay Garner on March 7, 1947 in Pocatello, Idaho. They lived in Pocatello, ID ; Dutch John, UT; Salt Lake City, UT. and in Ogden. They moved to Soda Springs in 1963 where she lived until her death. Owen passed away in 1994.

She married Orville Eddie Divine in 1996 in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. They enjoyed traveling and spending their winters in Bullhead. Eddie passed away in 2001.

She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, camping and reading Louis L'Amore novels.

LaRue is survived by two sons and two daughters and their spouses; Van and Sherri Garner of Soda Springs, ID; Paul Garner of Soda Springs, ID; Florence "Floss" and Keith Laudert of Gooding, ID; and Joan Hale of Lakeland, FL. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Owen "Jay" Garner and husband Eddie Divine and two children Blair Garner and Myron Garner and 4 brothers and two sisters.

Services will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at the Sims Funeral Home in Soda Springs.
Burial will be in the Falls View Cemetery.
