He was the son of George Washingon Blackiston and Mary Elizabeth Beck. In 1928 he married Berth Mary Geneva Squires and was the father of two sons. William F. Blackiston,Jr and myself Bishop John W. Blackiston, Sr. For many years he had a paper route and delivered papers in Kent and Queen Annes Counties. And then for several years before his death he delivered Meals on Wheels to many in Queen Annes County.
