Fay "Fritz" Ables, 70, of Goldthwaite died Saturday, Jan. 17, 1998, in a Brownwood hospital. Service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery.
She was born Oct. 19, 1927, in Mertzon and had lived in Goldthwaite since 1955. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Wayne Ables of Goldthwaite and Leymon Ables of Matador; two daughters, Tempest Dellis of Arlington and Carolyn Price of Nacogdoches; a brother, J.T. Cox of Fort McKavett; two sisters, Nina Lee Beauchap of Hugo, Okla., and Modell Harper of Lamesa; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
