Mrs. Eli G. Musser
Word was received by Estie Spangler, 909 East Market street, of the death of her sister, Mrs. Vlrgie Musser, wife of Eli G. Musser, Mount Joy, Lancaster county, who died Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock from a complication of diseases, being confined to bed for the past seven weeks. She was 26 years old. Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Kathryn, aged five years, and Estie G. Musser, aged five months; also the following brothers and sisters: Cornelius, Mount Joy, Estie, of this city, who is confined to the house by Illness, recovering from a slight operation; Elsie, who is confined to a hospital in Baltimore; Albert G., who is confined to his bed by sickness and Annamary, Paul and Amos, 813 East Philadelphia street. Owing to the illness of her brother and sisters, Annamary and Paul were the only ones able to attend the funeral which was held Thursday morning at 9 o'clock. Services were held at the house, after which the cortege proceeded to Cross Roads church, Lancaster, where further services were held and interment made. Rev. Eli Musser and Rev. Hests, officiating. It was the largest funeral held in that church for some time, practically one thousand persons coming from all parts of the county to attend. Mrs. Musser was the daughter of the late Albert and Alice (Grove) Spangler.
